At Shale Cosmo, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our Refund & Return Policy carefully before placing an order.

Return & Refund Eligibility

Customers must notify us of any issue with their order within 3 days of receiving the product. To initiate a return or refund request, please contact us at:

Requests received after 3 days from the date of delivery will not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund.

Conditions for Returns

Returns may be accepted only under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is damaged during transit.

  • The wrong product was delivered.

  • The product received is significantly different from the product ordered.

To process your request, we may require:

  • Order number

  • Clear photographs of the product received

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • A description of the issue

Opened Products Policy

Due to the nature of cosmetic raw materials, ingredients, oils, waxes, clays, pigments, preservatives, and formulation ingredients, any product that has been opened, unsealed, used, tested, transferred to another container, or otherwise tampered with shall not be eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances.

This policy is in place to maintain product integrity, quality assurance, hygiene standards, and customer safety.

Non-Returnable Items

Returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be provided for:

  • Requests made after 3 days of delivery.

  • Products that have been opened, used, tested, or altered.

  • Products damaged due to improper storage or handling by the customer.

  • Change of mind after purchase.

  • Incorrect formulation results or product performance expectations.

  • Products purchased on clearance, sale, promotional, or discounted offers unless received damaged or incorrect.

  • Any product returned without prior approval from Shale Cosmo.

Refund Process

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund.

If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable unless the error was caused by Shale Cosmo.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled only before they have been processed or dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Limitation of Liability

Shale Cosmo supplies cosmetic raw materials intended for formulation and manufacturing purposes. Customers are responsible for testing products and determining suitability for their intended applications. Shale Cosmo shall not be liable for formulation failures, product outcomes, business losses, indirect damages, or misuse of products.
